Sara Palczewski

Sara Palczewski is a Sports Broadcaster from Peoria, Illinois.

 
She recently concluded her time as the weekend sports anchor and reporter for WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois.

Sports have always been her passion and have had a major part in her life. Her passion for sports has driven her to make sports her career. 

 

She takes pride in knowing sports facts, trivia, and statistics and is always looking to learn more about sports and learn about different sports.

 

She has a great love for football. She also enjoys following hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, and field hockey at all levels of play.

 

She is a May 2018 graduate of Auburn University with a BA in Journalism. She also graduated summa cum laude with a concentration in sports broadcast journalism. 

 

While attending Auburn, she worked for Eagle Eye TV as the station's Sports Director. In the position, she regularly covered Auburn sports and broke news concerning Auburn players.

 

Due to her work, she was named a finalist for an award by SPJ Region 3 for her online coverage of Auburn football.

 

Prior to the beginning of her professional career, she has completed two internships with sports at FOX 26 in Houston and the second was at WRDE in Lewes, DE.
